The long term effects of Rosa Parks activist movements and saying no to be moved on the bus made major changes for African Americans and the nation. If it weren't for Rosa Parks acts there could have still been racial segregation today in the United States. With Rosa Parks decisions she witnessed a whole new world of African Americans being treated equal in all regards. What she did was a major turning point in America. Directly after the arrest of Rosa Park, African Americans boycotted the bussing system for over a year. She motivated people like Martin Luther King Jr. She also is called The Mother of Civil Rights movement. The acts she put forth with dignity and strength, took a stand for African Americans, with no award or care for her own safety or what society throw at her makes her a honorable, strong, courageous civil rights activist. Changing the United States and the lives in it and the laws, making America the land of dreams for all of us who live in it.
